Cops Smash Int’l Porn Ring

Athens- Police have broken up an international pornographic ring that displayed photos of underage girls on the Internet and live images taken from cameras hidden in women’s dressing rooms in a downtown Athens department store.

Authorities arrested two Greek nationals yesterday, a 57-year-old man and a 60-year-old male pensioner, who lives in the Netherlands, in connection to the pornographic material. Owners of the store, which was not named by police, claimed that they were unaware of the equipment on their premises, which offered live images of women while in the dressing room.

This is the first incident of hidden cameras relaying footage from dressing rooms uncovered in Greece.

Photos of the underage girls for the website were taken from a studio in Kolonaki, central Athens, police said.

Among the items police seized from the 57-year-old’s home in the southern suburbs were two hard drives, three digital cameras, a videocamera, 10 credit cards and two bank account booklets.
