AVN Media Network has extended the deadline for submitting choices for the 2027 Fan-Voted AVN Awards to September 30. This extension provides adult industry members and fans additional time to submit their pre-nominations.
The 2027 AVN Awards Show, presented by MyFreeCams, is scheduled for Saturday, January 23, 2027, at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, where the winners will be announced.
Submission Process and Deadlines
Industry members are directed to submit their Fan Awards pre-nominations through the dedicated Fan Awards section of the restricted AVN Awards Pre-Nom Site. Those with an active account for the Pre-Nom site automatically have access to this section. Individuals without an active account can request access by filling out a sign-up form.
Adult industry fans can submit their pre-nominations for the AVN Fan Awards using the public submissions page, available on the newly relaunched AVN Awards website. To submit pre-nominations on the public page, users select a category from a pull-down menu, fill out two fields, and click "Submit."
On both the public and industry sites, users are limited to one submission per nominee in each category, with a maximum of five total submissions per category. The pre-nom site will close promptly at 11:59 p.m. PT on Wednesday, September 30. This deadline also applies to the 2026 Fan-Voted GayVN Awards.
For jury-voted categories for both the 2027 AVN Awards and the 2027 GayVN Awards, the pre-nomination deadline was September 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT, with no extensions planned for these categories. Industry professionals were reminded to submit their pre-nominations via the AVN Awards Pre-Nomination Site at submissions.avn.com by this date. This deadline for jury-voted categories did not affect the traditional release deadline of September 30 for submitted material. Work or product slated for release between September 15 and September 30 could still be submitted prior to release via the Pre-Nom Site, with the work or product itself deliverable to AVN any time through the traditional release deadline.
Those previously approved to use the Pre-Nom Site could use their existing login for submissions. Individuals without a previously approved login were required to apply for access. Approved users could submit a maximum of five pre-nominations in any one category, and were urged to select their submissions carefully.
Eligibility for Jury-Voted Categories
For video categories, a release must have been made available commercially between October 1, 2025, and September 30, 2026. This availability must be via at least one of the following qualifying methods or platforms: a membership site, VOD/streaming site, DVD, or broadcast network. For full-length movie categories, submissions were required to include two qualifying release methods.
