The alleged Tiger Woods mistress and her husband, Nick, are now running a bankruptcy scam in conjunction with their Tiger Woods sex tape scam.
Devon James ( aka Melinda Jannette) has a history of running scams and telling lies – especially if they involve Tiger Woods.
Bear in mind that Devon is the alleged Tiger Woods mistress who tried to pass off her 9-year-old son as Tiger Woods secret love child, and brazenly filed a bogus paternity suit Tiger Woods, knowing that a DNA test on file with the court proved the boy’s father was another man.
The new bankruptcy scam has exposed several of Devon and Nick’s Tiger Woods sex tape lies.
RadarOnlinereports that on October 20th, Devon and Nick filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition citing debts of $231,124.
The bankruptcy petition was filed less than a week after Devon James and her husband set up a website to sell their controversial Tiger Woods sex tape – the same sex tape for which they allegedly received over $300,000 from an anonymous DVD production company.
If Nick and Devon received $350,000, what happened to it? Where is the money now?
Nowhere in the bankruptcy papers is there any mention of the $350,000 they claim to have received, or any reference to the copyright to the Tiger Woods sex tape, or any physical inventory of Tiger Woods sex tapes for which they’re still taking advance orders online.
According to Nick James (aka Nick Jannette) a deal was made with the unnamed DVD production company for a 50-50 split of the proceeds from the sale of the Tiger Woods sex tape.
A few days after the website for the Tiger Woods sex tape went live, Nick claimed in an interview with RadarOnline that they’d already received over $141.000 worth of advance orders for the (fake) tape, which has a delivery date of November 15.
However, there’s not a single reference to the Tiger Woods sex tape, or any funds received from it in any of the sections of the bankruptcy papers where you would expect it to appear. – including interests in partnerships or joint ventures; accounts receivable; patents, copyrights, and other intellectual property; licenses, franchises and other general intangibles; inventory, or income from the debtor’s business.
In fact, according to their bankruptcy papers, Nick and Devon claim assets totaling only $1800, with 0 income for the year 2010.
Obviously Nick and Devon are lying in their attempt to perpetrate yet another scam.
It’s highly possible that they filed bankruptcy in order to discourage or weasel out of the 3 lawsuits they are currently facing, two of which stem from Devon James’ Tiger Woods-related scams.
* Devon’s former manager Gina Rodriguez is suing Devon for $10,000 because she never received her 20% commission for the various porn and web deals she brokered on Devon’s behalf. * A radio network in Florida is suing Devon for $15,000 because she breached her contract with them (for which she was paid $3500) giving them exclusive rights to release all information pertaining to her alleged relationship with Tiger Woods. That would include the Tiger Woods sex tape Devon claims to have.
* Last, but not least, Devon and Nick are being sued by Teneal Goyco, the man they duped into making the fake Tiger Woods sex tape, under the pretense of fulfilling Devon’s fantasy of having sex with Tiger Woods. Maybe Nick and Devon think filing bankruptcy will protect them from having them to shell out any money they’ve already received, or hope to receive in connection with their fake Tiger Woods sex tape.
With all their lies and scams, it’s just a matter of time before Devon and Nick James end up in jail.
