The production moved away from Los Angeles to film in Miami, a decision Greenwood noted as making it one of their most challenging projects. Greenwood stated that the production collaborated with a local crew in Miami, who contributed talent, passion, and creativity to the film.

Greenwood reflected on the creative vision and ambition behind the series, stating that the goal for Digital Playground productions is to push boundaries, take creative risks, and deliver original and entertaining movies. He believes “Crash and Burn” delivers on this objective.
