ESPN Analyst Jeremy Green Placed on Suicide Watch After Kiddie Porn Bust

What’s the over-under?

from www.sportsgrid.com – Jeremy Green, former ESPN football analyst and son of former NFL coach Denny Green, has been placed on suicide watch after being charged with first-degree possession of child pornography in Connecticut.

Green was fired from his job as a TV analyst on ESPN after he was arrested on July 8th in a Connecticut motel. In addition to the child porn accusation, Green also faces charges for possession of narcotics and use of drug paraphernalia.

The Hartford Courant also reported details from Green’s arrest warrant, and they are predictably awful. Green participated in an online chat with a woman with the very creepy screen name of lendingmom12, then “shared sexually explicit photos and videos of a toddler, and told the woman he was chatting with that he ‘couldn’t wait for her to bring her three children to Connecticut.’”

The woman, it turns out, was from the Missouri County Sheriff’s Department. Missouri County soon tracked down Green with help from Bristol police.

Bristol, Connecticut police (Bristol is the home of ESPN headquarters) were brought into the loop on July 2, and Green was arrested at a Holiday Inn Express after police tracked his activities from a nearby residence to the hotel. His girlfriend was also in the room, along with laptop computers, flash drives, and an unspecified amount of cocaine.

Green’s court-appointed attorney is trying to get his bond of $750,000 lowered, according to the report. The fact that he has a court-appointed attorney at all may mean that Dennis Green, who had a long and financially fruitful career as an NFL coach, isn’t willing to help his extremely troubled son.

from www.footballnewsnow.com – Disturbing details regarding the arrest of former ESPN NFL analyst Jeremy Green on child porn charges have emerged.

Green sent pornographic images and videos of a toddler and one of an 8-year-old girl to a woman online in hopes that she would bring her three children to him.

Green, who was chatting as “jjack0721,” was actually chatting with an undercover detective.

The transmissions led to his arrest July 8 at a motel in Southington, Conn.

Green’s girlfriend was present at the hotel room when police served the search warrant.

When police entered the room they found two computers, cocaine and flash drives according to Hilda Munoz of the Hartford Courant.

When they searched the contents of one of the flash drives police found over 100 pornographic images, some of which were girls between the ages of 2- and 10-years-old.

He was charged with first-degree possession of child pornography, possession of narcotics and use of drug paraphernalia.

Green remains held on $750,000 bail at Garner Correctional Institution where his is currently on suicide watch.
