Final: Skeeter- Almost Everyone in Porn a “Criminal”; Law Won’t Go After Interracial, Gay Video

Porn Valley- I’ve been reading a lot of the late Hunter S. Thompson recently and it strikes me that Skeeter Kerkove has become to me what the also late Warren Zevon had become to Thompson.

Every time Thompson’s brain was dialed in one direction, along came Zevon with a visit or phone call to re-set Thompson’s mental Rolex in another.

Skeeter calls Monday afternoon. He’s not as boozed up as the week before, and this is a good thing because we get far more accomplished in conversation with less aggravation, and Skeeter’s recollections become a merry-go-round of tattle tailing.

Skeeter’s happy because our talk last week apparently resulted in a couple more directing gigs for him. Skeeter’s always considered porn to be a hobby and not a job. At the same time he tells you he has no respect for “mainstream” porn.

“That’s a joke to me,” he says. “There is no mainstream in porn. Porn is motherfucking porn. It’s sluts getting fucked in the ass and begging you to taste their butthole. They’re smoking pot and doing drugs. And they’re blowing 90% of their money. And that’s what’s going on. Everybody’s bragging about how they have a license to go buy pot and they turn around and sell it on a set.”

“That’s a fuckin’ felony,” he observes. “You can’t sell pot. What the fuck is going around. We’re trying to bring sexy back to porn and you got all these people selling drugs on set- pot, pills, all kinds of shit. Porn is for the dregs of society. There’s many convicted felons.”

With that Skeeter again harps on the “criminal” comments made about him by Darrah Ford last week.

“Who is that bitch talking about criminals?” he asks. “Do you realize that every time a porn star has turned a trick, it’s a crime? A crime is a crime. If a girl sells $5 of pot to another girl or guy on a porn set, which everybody has witness a gazillion times, it’s a crime, a felony.

“It’s not a misdemeanor. You have a right under the Constitution to protest a law but you do not have the right to break it. Every time a producer has done a single photo shoot- only- without a permit, that’s a crime in the city of Los Angeles. They are now a criminal. If you take a picture of a doughnut on your kitchen table without a permit- only one picture- and sell it for $2, you have just committed a misdemeanor crime in the city of Los Angeles. And that is a fact.”

On a similar note, Skeeter says he might be the one to take the issue to the US Supreme Court about filming porn in your own home.

“There’s many things you’re allowed to do inside personal property that you own and pay income tax on, and yearly property taxes on,” he continues. “It’s a different gig that no one has ever taken to the Supreme Court. My attorney Carlo Spiga wanted to do it but the Los Angeles courts wanted nothing to do with it and let it go.”

And Skeeter has had plenty of experience with the cops on this issue to talk.

“When Kelly Wells got her jaw broke by Belladonna, that was in a rented apartment,” he notes. “In one more year Kelly can talk about that agreement that John Stagliano and his cronies had her sign against her will.

“And that will be an interesting story. Kelly had insisted that Belladonna and her pimp husband take her to the hospital for her injuries. They tried telling her there was nothing wrong with her, that she was okay. We’ll pay you five grand. And Kelly has all the medical documentation of two different surgeons who operated on her jaw two different times while Tricia Deveraux on the Internet was saying that Kelly would be working the following week- which was physically impossible. “

Skeeter had also been reading something on AVN.com about Kylie Ireland working for Kink.com along with Mark Davis. This prompted another flood of retrospection.

“He’s one of the greatest performers ever,” says Skeeter of Davis.

“I don’t know that Max Hardcore’s ever hospitalized anybody- I doubt it,” continues Skeeter.

“I don’t know if Kink.com has every hospitalized anybody. But Evil Angel’s Belladonna has. Let’s talk about the worst thing that ever happened on my set- I know I had some of the best food ever on a pornography set. Even Devinn Lane who was then a Wicked contract girl wrote about it on Adult DVD talk.

“I never ran out of douches, enemas, wipes or air conditioning. Private, beautiful, clean, spotless showers that you can eat hardboiled eggs off of. But no one’s ever been hospitalized on my set. But they have on an Evil Angel/Belladonna set. I plead for them to come out on the Internet and show the medical records now. Show the pictures. But they won’t.”

“I know Bridgette took a baseball bat in her ass before Belladonna. I know she did interracial before Belladonna. She did the DP’s with Lexington Steele and Mandingo before Belladonna. She did double anal before Belladonna. Bridgette did it all before her but never put down the business. But, boy, Belladonna sure put it down in that fucking news show [20/20]. Then when she said I’ve retired, I got herpes? I bet there was a drop in DVD sales.”

It is very surprising that Belladonna continued to work despite the crying and industry put downs on national television. And Skeeter recalls a time when Bridgette ran into Belladonna on a ClubJenna set. Jameson borrowed a cigarette from Bridgette commenting how they were really strong. Skeeter says it was Bridgette’s gangbang and that ClubJenna has never released that scene.

“I don’t know,” replies Skeeter to the question. “Why didn’t Wicked release the gangbang with Bridgette and the three evil black men? [Lexington Steele, Mark Anthony and Byron Long.]

“They took care of Bridgette in a movie directed by Jonathan Morgan,” explains Skeeter. “They said because of the political climate they weren’t releasing it.”

[One suspects the Cambria list had a lot to do with that.]

“It was directly because of Cambria,” Skeeter agrees who’s of the opinion that the courts will never prosecute interracial.

“They would be prejudiced,” he says. “And they will never go after gay on gay because that’s prejudice against homosexuality. They will only go after white-on-white.”

As strange as it sounds, Skeeter makes a very valid point.

“They will never, ever go after gay obscenity. And they will never go after Kink.com because they got too much legal representation. Kink.com is way more hardcore than Max Hardcore. That ain’t nothing what he does compared to Kink.com.”

For the record, before there was a kink.com, Skeeter was shooting the same type of scenes in his early Metro movies.

“That used to make Jim Powers nervous,” he recalls. “He said we can’t film this. I said yes we can and we did it with Melanie Jagger and Ashley Long and Angel Long, Bridgette Kerkove and Julie Night. We didn’t know we were ahead of ourselves. We thought bondage with S&M was the most perfect way to share lovemaking qualities.”

“But kink.com’s the bomb, I love it. It’s great. And the thing that Kylie Ireland did with Mark Davis is decadent.”

“I remember when Kylie and I used to talk and I told her the visions I had for her as she was going to get fired from VCA because Bridgette and I knew about it two months in advance from Stephanie Ross. You probably know the Stephanie Ross story and VCA and TT Boy. I’m sure you do. But it’s all about being kinky and nasty and not being a contract girl.”

Skeeter recalled a conversation with Cass Paley who was going to shoot Ireland for a Video Team girl-girl movie. Skeeter suggested that Ireland and Bridgette Kerkove do a fisting scene because Ireland had never done it before. Ireland went on to do that scene as well as a celebrated one for Seymore Butts.

“Bridgette and Kylie were ass-fucking each other with their fists like there was no tomorrow,” Skeeter points out. “It’s when good girls go bad.”

“That scene for Video Team was also nominated for an AVN award,” Skeeter also relates. “And the Seymore Butts one was also nominated. They were shot 30 days apart. It was good to see Kylie do more than a boy-girl anal scene with a condom. And it made us quite proud.”

“Then Kylie and her husband broke up and she got together with Jonathan Morgan who borrowed money from Rob Spallone to buy a house; that went bad. Then Jonathan and Kylie broke up. Jonathan kept the house. He paid Kylie nothing back, ripped her off and moved in with Steve Hatcher to help make the house payments. That’s how Jonathan Morgan became a home owner because Kylie Ireland went and hustled the money. Then they borrowed some more money from Rob Spallone.”

Skeeter says all this also occurred at the time that Seymore Butts was allegedly stalking Alicia Klass.

“And Alicia Klass had a restraining order against him. I know because Bridgette was over visiting her.”

[I was also speaking to Klass a lot during that time and she’d play me voicemails to suggest that a restraining order was definitely called for.]

“So you know that I’m not lying,” says Skeeter when I tell him this. “Bridgette called me from this apartment Alicia Klass was staying at saying that Seymore Butts was downstairs in his purple Jaguar which was leased, with expired plates, and that the police were coming. Bridgette was freaked out because she didn’t want to be around any police. She said, hey daddy, what do I do? I said don’t abandon your girl. It’s not her fault he came over.”
