“Girls Gone Wild” Founder Found Guilty of $3 Million Casino Debt

from www.onlinecasinoadvisory.com – Joe Francis of “Girls Gone Wild” infamy was told to pay up a debt to a Wynn Resort casino, despite his claim he was tricked by the use of hookers into playing beyond his intended limit.

Joe Francis, the originator of the sleazy “Girls Gone Wild” money machine, will have to pay a sizeable dent to Wynn Resorts, plus accumulated interest. A Nevada judge has ruled that Francis must pay the Wynn Las Vegas casino $2 million in unpaid markers, plus another $1 million in interest.

Francis had alleged that Steve Wynn used prostitutes and alcohol to trick him into playing past his limits. He said that he was asked to sign markers without reading them, and that the casino staff made sure to keep him inebriated so that he would continue his losing streak.

But Francis reportedly displayed astonishingly stupid courtroom behavior, refusing to cooperate to the point he would not acknowledge speaking English. District Judge Michelle Leavitt was unamused at Fracis’ antics, and ordered him to settle with Wynn.

Francis is expected to appeal, but legal troubles beyond the casino and his gambling loom. Francis has already done jailtime for filming a minor for his softcore porn DVDs, and he faces an ongoing court case against the IRS for tax evasion.

“The defendant has asked for dismissal, but dismissal is not in order,” said Judge S. James Otero of the tax case, which could be serious trouble for Francis.
