Miami- Saturday morning I checked in with Arrow’s director of marketing, Robert Interlandi, www.xxxdeepthroat.com
Interlandi was on his way to the Exxxotica Miami convention and a second day of festive bull riding. Arrow Productions, which probably has the biggest booth on the floor this year, brings its mechanical steer to these various shows and hopes for the best when women come with no underwear on.
“I love Miami,” Interlandi’s saying. “Miami’s known for the beautiful people and we had them at this show. We had the hottest chicks- civilians that show up. A couple of girls in sun dresses got up on the bull with no panties on. Then they got bucked off, and their legs were spread eagle. Everyone cheers. It’s crazy.”
Interlandi who’s been here before says this is becoming a pretty good fan show.
“The cops are even really cool,” he says. “I had a cop who tried to deep throat the energy drink, www.deepthroatenergy.com and I was, like, hey, you got to give a cop a can so he can walk around the show and drink one.”
“Then the cop was drinking it and walking around the show. That’s my favorite guy fan. And my favorite chick fan was this girl who jumped up on the bull with no panties. Everyone saw her vagina. She hopped off after she realized that everyone could see her stuff. Everyone booed her for doing that. They were like get back on the bull and she felt totally obligated. She said I’ll do it but don’t go fast because I’m not wearing any underwear.”
According to Interlandi one of the models at his booth was Keeani Lei. She, too, was without undies.
“I shot her in a movie that was never released- it was so bad my lead actor was new and fell in love with the makeup artist and they got married,” recalls Interlandi. “You never know.”
Interlandi discovered that Lei, from Panama, can speak Spanish when a Mexican TV station came over to the booth.
“She did some skit with a Mexican TV guy,” observes Interlandi.
Although he didn’t hear a figure, Interlandi said you could see attendance was up over last year.
“But it’s strange that some of the big vendors like Digital Playground, Vivid and Wicked aren’t there at the show.”
“And Bang Bus brought the bus,” adds Interlandi. “I just couldn’t believe how beat up it was. It’s dented from somebody running into it.”
Instead of driving this year, and thus avoiding The Hills Have Eyes experiences he had last year, Interlandi took a plane to Florida.
“I had somebody else drive. But I’ll drive back. “
