On the HIV issue, the Bomber said that the girls in the industry were killing him with their threats to quit. ‘

“What are you going to do? Learn a new trade in two weeks when your car payment’s due? Get out of here.”

The Bomber said there was an informal HIV pow-wow at his house on Wednesday night. “A bunch of people came over. The topic of the discussion switched in the middle to just bashing AIM. Of course they’re not perfect; and of course you can point to problems with AIM. But the fact of the matter is our industry is 9000% better off with AIM then we are without AIM.”

Weiss feels that AIM’s biggest problem is that it’s drastically understaffed and can’t keep up with things. The Bomber said he’d like to see a regulatory board that ranked talent on A, B and C levels.

“There are activities in our industry that make you a higher risk,” he said. “If you do double-anals you’re a B-risk.”

Weiss said, if that’s the case, then you have to take into consideration who does the extracurricular swinging and who’s seeing who outside the business. The Bomber replied that you can’t regulate a personal life. “But that’s what you’re talking about basically,” Weiss argues. The suggestion was that heat should be brought down on sites like Exotica 2000 which promote porn star escorting. Dee was also inclined to advise quarantines for people who shoot outside the country.

The Bomber added his comments to say that he hopes the industry wakes up and good comes out of this. “There is shit that doesn’t need to be shot and seen. I don’t need anal cream pies blowing into a girl’s mouth; and double anal and traveling to Brazil. Let’s get back to normal fucking sex scenes.”

Another suggestion was that Brazil should be deemed off limits that performers working there not be allowed to work again in the U.S.

Dee said the problem the industry is facing are companies who claim this is what the consumer wants. She thought their arguments in support of non-condom scenes are pure bullshit.

Weiss said another problem is allowing 18 and 19 year-olds to perform. “We don’t let ’em vote. They can barely drive and you’re going to trust them with peoples’ lives? They’re just not mature enough.”

Dee said responsibility also rests on the shoulders of agents, managers and pimps who entice girls to perform double-anals for big money.

“They’re bringing these girls into the business. It’s a girl’s fault in a way but it’s also the manager’s fault. Some managers. They’re looking at the dollar. They’re not looking at the girl. She’s only going to be in this for a couple of months, fuck her. I’m going to take my pay and make her do whatever I want and that’s the end of it.”

Dee said she worked with a girl two weeks ago. “I did a scene with a condom and she’s, like, you do condom scenes? I’m like, yeah. ‘You still get work?’ I’m like I’ve been doing condom scenes for six years and I still get steady work. She was shocked. She goes I didn’t know that. You just speak up and say I’m not going to do this.”

Bomber said when Cytherea first started she was told unless you’re doing anal you’re only going to be able to work in the industry a few months. “She’s been doing alright without anal. Cytherea’s still here. Whatever the fuck.”

The Bomber said he heard a bunch of people bitching at Sardos about the $10 increase at AIM. “And they’re running up $80, $90, $100 bar tabs. You people are stupid.”

However, the Bomber was also of the opinion that the adult industry was faring better than the population-at-large as far as HIV statistics. “It’s been six years [actually 5] since we’ve had an HIV positive. How many scenes is that Internet and video both? A million, million and a half?” It was also suspected that “civilians” get tested once a year if that.

Weiss put it another way. “We are at the highest risk but at the lowest percentage of incidence.”
