NY- The Brazilian bombshell accused of running a million-dollar prostitution ring may no longer be able to call on her girls for help.
Andreia Schwartz’s new lawyer said yesterday that some of the women rounded up in the takedown of a Manhattan brothel have turned on the still-jailed stunner.
“I believe they have become cooperating witnesses – for whatever that’s worth,” said the attorney, Anthony Lombardino.
Dressed in white pants and a ruffled floral print blouse, Schwartz was all smiles during an appearance in Manhattan Supreme Court, where her lawyer filed new motions to free her.
In court documents, Lombardino sneered at the money laundering charges brought against Schwartz, calling them “a great deal of fluff.” He also demanded more information on the South American sexpot’s “so-called drug sales.”
“I think they seduced her,” Lombardino said of cops who busted the brothel.
The 31-year-old beauty was arrested in June for allegedly running a sex ring that catered to well-heeled sugar daddies, including top Time Warner exec Wayne Pace, who has denied any wrongdoing.
Several of her alleged employees also were arrested in the sting at her swank W.58th St. pad.
A lawyer for one accused call girl, Minatee Park, refused to discuss Lombardino’s claim that the other ladies have turned into snitches. “If he has that kind of information, I wish he would give me a call,” said Paul Siegert, Park’s attorney. “I’d like to know myself.”
The Manhattan district attorney’s office declined comment.
Schwartz insists she was not a hooker. To Lombardino, she’s a sweet girl. “She goes to church over at Rikers,” he said.
Schwartz, who has a son in Brazil, remains at Rikers Island on $1 million bail.
“If they had [Osama] Bin Laden, bail like this would be satisfactory,” Lombardino said.
