Porn Valley- When Jack Lawrence pops a shot in his scene this evening on Regan Reese, he will have made history of sorts. Lawrence and Reese appear in Anton Slayer’s This Ain’t Gilligan’s Island XXX. History because it will be the last movie ever shot at LFP Studios.

After the feature wraps Tuesday evening, Hustler will be closing the studios doors. The LFP building also at one time housed VCA Pictures when it acquired the company from Russ Hampshire. According to word on the set Tuesday afternoon, Hustler is downsizing- reflective of the current state of the porn industry’s economy.

On another note, I ran into Jeff Mullen who along with partner Scott David paid a visit to the Gilligan set. Mullen and David were running a casting call down the street so took the opportunity to stop in. I asked Mullen what happened with the long delayed J Ho movie. Mullen said he can’t say too much for the moment other the fact that he was sued over it. But Mullen still expects to release the feature.
