Devastated Holly Henderson, 34, accused Paul Wood — who lost a testicle last year after being kicked during a match — of lying to her and his wife Shelley.

She claimed the Warrington Wolves prop “engaged in sexual activity” with her 24 hours before he told The Sun that they were no longer “romantically involved”.

Holly — who previously dated Manchester City star Mario Balotelli, 22 — said: “Paul assured me he had split with his wife, which was lies. He needs to grow some balls. And stop lying.”

Paul, 31, left his family on December 27 after meeting Holly on Twitter.

His spokesman denied he slept with her.
