UNIONTOWN, Indiana www.wave3.com – A southern Indiana adult business is now closed following a years-long court battle.
The Lion’s Den had been fighting the state, Jackson County and county commissioners about claims it was violating county ordinance on adult sexually oriented businesses. The store said that ordinance was enacted just three days before it opened in August 2005.
A judge has ruled that the store should not be grandfathered in.
The Crothersville Times reports a sign on the door of the Lion’s Den appears to indicate it will appeal, saying the store is temporarily closed.
