ORLANDO, Fla. — from www.abcactionnews.com – At least 10 people were jailed Monday morning after police busted up an internet prostitution ring.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Orange, Citrus, Marion, Osceola, Polk and Sumter Counties worked with the Orlando Police Department to track down their suspects.
The perpetrators used auction sites like Craigslist to communicate with their clients.
Jeff Williamson with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said, the arrests included a 17-year-old girl who was charged with prostitution and is a suspect in four robberies. Williamson said that when solicitors show up for her services, they are robbed.
