SANTA BARBARA, CA – Michael Jackson’s plane arrived at Santa Barbara airport just before noon today and most of the chatter among reporters was curiosity if Jackson was even on the plane at all. Moments later, police escorted a few vehicles off, one believing to be holding the controversial pop star.
Sheriff Anderson made a brief statement to the public, “At 12:05 today, Michael Jackson was taken into custody at SBA. He is currently being transported to Santa Barbara Jail for processing. We expect it to take an hour and we expect him to post bail [3 million dollars]. At such time, we will ask him to surrender his passport.”
Fans and reporters gathered at the airport, sheriff station and news choppers followed the police procession as it made it’s way to processing.
