While imprisoned, Jesse and wife Sandra Bullock had sole custody of Sunny. Upon her release, Janine sought to regain joint custody. She was recently granted to have Sunny overnight for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Janine recently said that she wants to sit down and talk things out with Jesse and Sandra.
