from www.fansshare.com – The adult entertainment industry was dealt a hug blow recently, when it was confirmed that three very popular names in the adult movie world had tested positive for HIV. There is no denying that HIV has been an issue in the adult film industry for years, although it has improved in recent years.
Former porn star Jessie Rogers retired from adult movies, at the age of just 20, and decided to fight to help to clean up the adult entertainment industry. Jessie became a huge support of the fight to make it compulsory to wear condoms on the sets of porn films and now more names have started to speak up.
Following the recent terrible news about the HIV victims, one of the biggest names in the adult movie industry has added her voice to those wanting to change things. Jenna Jameson was recently a guest on Larry Kings show, when she admitted that she was trying to help to make the sets of adult films a much safer place.
One of the main issues here is that, as a society, we have come to see condoms as a detraction from pleasure, which makes using them in porn movies less sellable. With that said, the safety of the stars involved has to come first and something must be done sooner, rather and later.
