Jenna Rose Interviewed On XXX Wasteland.com

Adam Wilcox writes on www.xxxwasteland.wordpress.com – XXX newcomer Jenna Rose has continued to establish a name for herself since entering the adult industry several months ago by regularly shooting for some of the top studios in porn. Additionally, Jenna was recently selected by Danni.com as the website’s July 2011 DanniGirl of the Month.

Jenna possessed a diverse resume prior to her on-camera debut and was previously employed by the air force and a hamburger restaurant chain. She is a young woman with a very interesting story, both personally and professionally.

Jenna kindly spoke with XXX Wasteland on the afternoon of July 13 while on set for another powerhouse industry company, Pink Visual, during a live webcam shoot and scene (soon to be featured on PinkVisualPass.com). We discussed her budding career in adult, sharing her stage name with a rising teen pop singer and more.

You can follow Jenna on Twitter @JennaRoseXXX. The up-and-coming starlet also has an official website in the works, JennaRoseXXX.com, which she plans to have online in the coming weeks.

Jenna is available for bookings through Metrotalent Management.

Q: Can you tell us about your shoot today for Pink Visual?

Today is actually my first time shooting for them. We’re going to be doing live webcam around two o’clock. It’s going to be me and Breanne Benson, some girl-girl, and interact, I believe, with the people watching and we’re also going to be doing a scene. So, we’ll see how it goes. (Laughs)

Q: How are things going today on the set?

It’s going great. I got my hair and makeup done, I already got my pretty girls out of the way, so it’s good. Just waiting around. (Laughs)

Q: Can you give us some background on yourself and how you initially became interested – and now involved – in the adult industry?

Oh, wow. (Laughs) I’m pretty new in the industry, actually. I started in March. My agent Roxy, from Metrotalent, she found me on MySpace, actually. I had my old account. Then her husband started writing me and talking to me about the whole industry. I just thought it was going to be pictures and stuff, and he wanted me to come to an interview with Roxy. I said, “What the heck? No harm.” So, I went to the interview and she signed me up right away. She explained it all and said it’s not as bad as everybody perceives it as. I’m like, “I’ll give it a try, see how it goes.” So, here I am. (Laughs)

Q: Are you enjoying your time in the business thus far?

I’m enjoying it, yeah. It’s a lot of fun. It’s definitely not what everybody sees on the outside – how the videos are edited and all that. It’s completely different than how it is on set.

Q: Can you talk a little bit about some of the movies you have appeared in and studios you have worked with since entering the industry?

I’ve worked a lot with Penthouse so far. I just got back from Hawaii doing a photo shoot with them. I’ve worked with Taboo, shot for the magazine – that will be out in September. I shot for Hustler and Playboy for their TV and for a bunch of little companies that are starting out.

Q: Nice. You have already worked with some of the top brands then.

Yeah. Trying to get out there. (Laughs)

Q: Are there any performers and studios you specifically wish to work with in the future?

Well, I really enjoy working with Penthouse because it’s very professional. I’ve been to some places where it’s one person doing the whole thing. I like a lot of people around where it feels more professional. Everybody here is very, very friendly as well at Pink Visual. I just like to feel comfortable with what I’m doing.

Yes, I’ve worked a few times with Pink Visual and they have always been very professional, friendly and great people.

Yeah.

Q: Do you have any specific aspirations in regard to the adult industry?

I would like to … not say become famous, but I would like to get a name for myself and be known – like, “I know who Jenna Rose is.” That’s my goal. (Laughs)

Q: Do you have a visual of where you see yourself ten years from now?

Ten years from now … well, a couple months ago, I was in the air force. (Laughs)

Yeah. That was my goal growing up – to be in the air force and do something in the medial field. But now that I’ve been in this industry I’ve found out that it is going to be a lot harder to get a job later on because some people look down upon the porn industry. So, it’s definitely going to limit my jobs in the future. Hopefully, that isn’t going to affect me and people (will be able to) see me for me and not for what I’ve done – for my personality.

Q: Is that something you would like to return to later on – the air force and medical field?

I’ve been thinking about it. I’d have to start going to school and taking some classes if I want to join the air force. I know that would be a “For sure – I can retire from there,” because the porn industry, it’s only as long as you look good. It’s not going to last forever. (Laughs)

Q: I saw some of your pictures online and noticed that you have a tattoo of a flower (on the lower right-side of her abdomen)?

Yeah, it’s a rose.

Q: Does that have a special meaning to you?

My mom passed away about three years ago and there was just a bunch of unresolved things between us that I’ll never get answered. Before she died she always told me that she wanted me to put one rose on her grave and I never got the chance to do that. It was hard for everybody. I got the rose for my mom and in the middle it’s blue, and that was her favorite color. And my middle name is Roseanne and my stage name is Jenna Rose – I kind of put it all together. (Laughs)

Q: Awesome. I did want to ask about your stage name. I’m not sure if you are aware – and I didn’t know this myself until a few days ago – but there is actually a teen pop star by the name of Jenna Rose as well. (Laughs)

Yeah, I saw that actually. (Laughs)

Q:(Laughs) Although I’m guessing that had nothing to do with your choice of stage name.

No, no, no. I didn’t even notice there was a teen pop star until I Googled my name to see what content was out. Then I saw her and I was like, “… Oh.”

My real name is Jennifer and my middle name is Roseanne. So, Jenna is short for Jennifer and then Rose for Roseanne.

Q: It was sort of the same story with me. I spoke with Pink Visual about a week ago to begin setting this up and was researching you to put together interview questions – that’s how I found out about her too. (Laughs)

(Laughs) But it’s horrible because I didn’t even know that. And now when little kids Google their pop star Jenna Rose, some of my stuff is going to pop up.

It’s like, “Ohhh … that’s not good at all.” But I can’t change my name now, there is already stuff on the Internet. I’m just hoping they don’t click on any of that stuff. I definitely don’t want to have a bad reputation as far as that goes.

Q: Can you tell us where you were raised and how you would describe yourself growing up?

I grew up – actually, I’m still living there to this day – out in the desert in Victorville, California. It’s about a two-hour drive, I drive every day here to come to work. I grew up there.

I’m the youngest of eight. And no, we are not Mormon – everybody always asks that.

I guess my parents just didn’t have a TV or something growing up.

I’m the youngest of eight. I’m a big family person. When I’m not working I just enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews.

I love the outdoors. I love going up to Big Bear and Silverwood Lake and just hanging out with everybody.

My childhood wasn’t so great growing up. It was kind of rough. My mom was very, very strict. She was an alcoholic, so we had been in foster care and just moved from home to home. It was pretty rough, but I don’t regret anything I’ve ever been through in my life. It made me who I am, it made me a stronger person. I appreciate everything and don’t take anything for granted, that’s for sure.

Q: What are some of your interests and hobbies?

I like going dirt bike riding, I absolutely love it. I started picking up on it last year. I like going fast. (Laughs) I almost killed myself, though, but practice makes perfect.

I used to work at In-N-Out. I worked there for about three years right up until I got this job and I was going to become manager.

Q: Is that like a department store?

In-N-Out burger. (Laughs) Where are you from?

Q: I’m from Ontario, Canada. Maybe we don’t have those here.

Oh, you guys don’t have In-N-Out. In-N-Out is very popular here in California. Everybody knows what it is. That was my goal until I got here – I was going to just keep moving up and become a store manager. Then I decided I didn’t want to work at a fast-food place for the rest of my life.

Q: What are some of your favorites – movies, TV shows, musicians, etc.?

I’m actually not a picky person. I love Mark Wahlberg. I love all of his movies, like Shooter and all that. Anything with Mark Wahlberg I absolutely love.

My favorite color is purple. I’m attracted to that color for some reason. In my photo sets before we called you I was wearing a purple bra and underwear set, so I was pretty excited.

Q: Is there something you can tell us about yourself that you feel would surprise many people?

Probably just when you see a lot of my videos and you look at me, and if you actually sit down and get to talk to me and know who I am and what I’m about, then that would probably surprise a lot of people. Just that alone. Just getting to know me for me and not for what I look like or how my scenes play out or any of that. It’s completely two different sides.

Q: Are there any upcoming projects in the works you would like to mention?

I’m going to be coming out with my website soon. It’s not up yet, but it will be JennaRoseXXX.com. We’re just taking the pictures and stuff for it now, so there’s nothing up there yet, but it should be coming up in August or September.

I’m the DanniGirl for this month. If you go on Danni.com, I’m the July 2011 DanniGirl.

I’ll be out in Taboo Magazine and then check me out in October for Penthouse Magazine – I can’t tell you what it’s for. (Laughs)

Q: To finish up, is there anything you wish to say to readers?

I want to let everybody know: Thank you for your support. Keep on helping me make a name for myself and I won’t let anybody down.

(My Twitter account) is there, @JennaRoseXXX, but I don’t really go on it because I really don’t know how to use it. But maybe if people start teaching me how to use it I’ll go on it more often.

Thank you very much. I appreciate you taking time out of your workday to speak with me and I hope things continue to go well in your career.
