WOODBURY — from www.courierpostonline.com – A Deptford man who posed online as a female porn star now is accused of encouraging seven boys to send him sexually explicit pictures of themselves.
The new allegation emerged Friday at a bail-reduction hearing for Bryan Jacobs, 38, who was arrested in June after an alleged incident involving one youth, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office.
Superior Court Judge Walter L. Marshall Jr. ordered bail to remain at $100,000 cash for Jacobs. The Somerset Road resident is charged with distributing and possessing images of children engaged in sexual acts.
Authorities allege Jacobs bought child-porn online and created what appeared to be a female porn star’s My-Space account. He remains in Gloucester County Jail.

Bryan A. Jacobs, 38, of Somerset Road, was charged June 25 with distributing images of children engaged in sexual acts, a second-degree offense- and possessing such images, a third degree crime. Specific acts alleged include purchasing images of child sexual abuse on-line from an Indiana supplier who is now under arrest and creating what appeared to be a pornography star’s Web site for the purpose of acquiring additional images to share with others.
On July 10, Judge Walter L. Marshall Jr. denied a request to lower bail for Jacobs, who has been held in the Gloucester County Jail in Woodbury in default of $100,000 cash bail.
The second request was denied Friday after Marshall was advised that investigators have interviewed seven boys Jacobs allegedly encouraged to share sexually explicit photos on a MySpace account they thought was set up by a young, female porn star.
