The scheduled November 15th fight between John Wayne Bobbitt and comedian Rev Bob Levy was postponed just minutes before Bobbitt was scheduled to enter the ring.

It was announced to the crowd that John was unable to fight due to high blood pressure. The fight Promoter said Bobbitt began having his blood pressure taken at 2pm and they could never bring it down. The paramedics hired by the event, then advised John not to fight.

The Promoter made the final choice to scratch John and add a replacement. The rowdy crowd booed in displeasure, until John entered the ring and addressed the crowd. He said he wanted to fight, but that they wouldn’t allow him. He also said he has never had a history of high blood pressure and was ready to fight.

The John Wayne Bobbitt fight was scheduled to be the main event of a night that featured eight other matches including little people and women’s tag team boxing.

“I spoke to John tonight” said Jason Green co-owner of Paradise Visuals, “He was very disappointed. He traveled all the way from Vegas to Pa and had to take off 3 days from work to do pre fight promotion.

“John also assured me that after the fight was cancelled he went to Rite Aid and video taped himself having his blood pressure taken. The results were completely normal”

Regardless of blood pressure Bobbitt will appear in the Paradise Visuals booth at AEE along with Uncut director Ron Jeremy.
