Judge Joe Rules Against Adult Webmaster

Porn Valley- Judge Joe Brown served noticed to tardy adult webmasters yesterday by ruling against Danny Wallace. Nicole London of Outback Productions had her former webmaster Wallace before the judge in an issue stemming from the fact that Wallace had not delivered her a website as promised.

The judge’s verdict was swift and direct amidst the typical porno claims and counter claims that often get as confusing as Chinese algebra. However, Judge Joe might look to his own webmaster, since Brown’s site offers incorrect information as to viewing times of his show in the Los Angeles area. The show is listed as airing 3 pm on LA’s channel 2 when, in fact, it airs 4 pm on Channel 9.

London’s claim was basically that she bought a more advanced computer for Wallace to develop her site and when the site wasn’t forthcoming, she sued to get her money back – about $1700 and change. London admitted to Judge Joe that she had known Wallace for quite a few years and, in fact, had dated him at one point. “We dated for a period and lived together.” London also said she founded her production company in January, 2003.

“In June of this year I hired Danny to design our website,” London testified. In almost indictable fashion, Brown noted that London’s website was being used to sell “various, shall we say, adult entertainment and marital aids that can be made available to the subscriber.” London said she talked to Wallace and asked what was needed to get the ball rolling. London said she was told that Wallace needed a “host” computer. London said on June 19 she had Wallace fax over prices to her accountant for a new computer. London said on June 25, a check was written to Best Buy in the amount of $1780.29. London then submitted to Brown the Best Buy receipt and the checks that she had written. London said she found out later on that Wallace instead bought a home computer.

London claimed that on June 26, Wallace picked up the check from her accountant’s office then went to Best Buy to purchase it. London said she then gave Wallace a photo and three videos. “All I wanted was a coming page to get that up and going,” she said. “Outback coming soon.” London also made it clear that hers is an adult video company and that she’s a former performer. London then presented her new webmaster Mark Sarra who London said was able to get her site up in a couple of days. Sarra said it was more like a week but that he got the site up and running.

According to Brown, Wallace in a span of 90 days had nothing to show for his efforts. London then went on to explain how she sent her husband and brother to the police because Wallace was not returning calls. “I have a list of dates and times for the last month of messages that I left for him.”

On his behalf, Wallace said he had a verbal deal with London. “She knew I worked on computers. She hired me and we had an agreement that she would pay me in advance for money that the site would make.” Wallace claims he told London that his old computer couldn’t handle all the data.

“She said how much would it cost you to get a new computer. I said I’ll go find out. She said, if you can, can you give me a receipt for how much it’s going to cost. I said for something I haven’t gotten yet. She said, yeah.” Wallace said he went to Best Buy and they printed him an estimate for how much the entire works would cost. Wallace said he sent the receipt to London’s accountant and she called him to come pick up the check which was on June 26.

Brown was confused as to the contention. Wallace said he worked on London’s website and had created pages. Wallace said something about his mother being hurt, as if that was an issue, and that he was told by London she was picking up the computer. Wallace said that call came in October. Asked if the website had been completed by that time, Wallace answered no. “Well then you lose,” said Judge Brown who ruled that Wallace had been dragging his feet and that Wallace had to reimburse the $1700 plus $600 interest. “He [Wallace] took an advance on something he was not entitled to,” Brown added.
