KSEX and Dane Team Up for MDA

Burbank, California – Dane Productions and KSEX Radio have teamed up to help those affected by Muscular Dystrophy during the annual Labor Day telethon. Donation funds are being collected through Free Speech Coalition and volunteers are getting together to staff the phone banks during the yearly event.

Bob of Dane Productions has been active for the cause for many years. “I Spoke to Wankus and Batman of KSEX Radio. They were kind enough to plug the MDA Telethon this Labor Day weekend. I really appreciate the support I have been receiving so far. I have a lot of ways for our industry to help out. Clubs can participate, as well as individuals. The first day, I had seven people confirmed to work with me, manning the phones. The six, besides myself, are Mara Epstein, Elizabeth Vasquez, Marty O’Malley, Batman, Belle D’ Leon, and Devon Michael.”

“I’m so happy to do this,” says KSEX PJ Batman. “I’m plugging the telethon every night I’m on the air and I want to ask all of the KSEX listeners and every one else in our industry to give for these people. It doesn’t have to be much. Donate a little of your time to answer the phone at the event or kick in a couple of dollars to the donation fund. It all makes a difference.”

Wankus is donating free air-time to publicize the telethon on KSEXradio.com during every slot on the station schedule. “We are always supportive of charity and doing the right thing to help those that have difficulty in their lives. As an industry, we have the ability to make this world a better place and since the MDA have welcomed our donations with open arms, we’re opening our hearts to them in return.”

Bob speaks from the heart, “Ladies of our industry, look at yourselves. You’re beautiful, healthy and able to do everything, whether it be in front of a camera or not. The people I want you to think about are the victims of neuromuscular diseases. They would do anything just to be able to stand, and unfortunately just feed themselves. Dancers in clubs, I am especially relying on your generosity, and those of management to really come thru for MDA.”Bob offers some creative ways for you to raise money for your donation. “Take the money from your daily cup of Starbucks, your cigarettes, anything we all take for granted, and give it to MDA thru the FSC. How about taking the money you would spend on one pair of stockings, and donating it. I promise, you will not miss the $7.00 or so, and you will be doing something to help out someone who would love to be able just to put on a pair of stockings.”
