New York – from www.nydailynews.com – A duplex in a Tribeca condo was turned into a raging party pad by a sex-toy salesman – complete with a stripper pole and flaming massages, a new lawsuit charges.
The board of the First Reade Condominium is suing the apartment’s owner, charging that he rented his place last November to a tenant who has outraged building residents with raucous all-night blowouts.
Tenant Dimitri Dimoulakis – who court papers say told a board member that he was in the business of “selling sex toys” – is accused of converting the apartment into a nightclub where nearly 200 guests paid $10-$15 in admission and were sold liquor.
The over-the-top parties in the six-story Reade Street building featured “pornographic elements,” the suit charges, among them flaming massages.
A video of a flaming massage [pictured] said to be from one of the parties was posted to Facebook, in which a woman wearing a bra waves a fiery wand over a man stripped down to his boxers on a kitchen counter.
“The man’s pants are also pulled down to his ankles,” says the suit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court. “A crowd of on-lookers is ogling at the show, with some of them videotaping it themselves.”
The suit charges that Dimoulakis and unit owner James McGown have repeatedly ignored complaints from residents about “horrendous noise” and “unlawful disturbing events” inside the 1,800-square foot apartment.
“They continued their brutal course of conduct, and continued to stage unlawful similar events in the Unit in violation of law and to the detriment of the unit owners,’ the suit charges.
A lawyer for the building did not immediately return calls, and McGown and Dimoulakis could not be reached for comment.
The two men are accused of advertising the parties over the Internet.
