Topless photos of former Iraqi POW Jessica Lynch may surface, after all.
Pornmeister Larry Flynt told us last week that he’d decided his Hustler magazine would not publish shots that allegedly show the private cavorting with two men. But now we hear that foreign publications are keen to buy the embarrassing shots, as well as interviews with the two former soldiers who’ve been peddling them.
David Hans Schmidt, the celebrity-skin wrangler who brokered the deal with Flynt, confirms that British tabloids have been calling. So has a South of the Border publication, which is interested in Lynch because her fiance, Sgt. Ruben Contreras, is of Mexican descent.
Schmidt tells us: “I always said that the market will dictate whether these pictures will be sold.”
He declined to discuss whether Flynt was prepared to unload pics for which he’s said to have paid six figures. “All I’ll say is that attorneys are reviewing the transactions,” said Schmidt.
Britain’s Mail on Sunday has identified one of the ex-soldiers selling the shots as Fred Haak. The Arizona man was quoted as saying that the shots were taken at a party at a barracks in Fort Bliss, Tex.
The 20-year-old Lynch and another woman stripped “off their clothes until they weren’t wearing much,” Haak was quoted as saying. “Nobody bedded Jessica that night. Everyone was just fooling around.” Haak hung up on us when we called him yesterday.
Yesterday, Lynch told us she was hurt that her former Army comrades were trying to humiliate her.
“I don’t know why they would do such a thing,” she said at Good Housekeeping’s Heroes for Health Awards at Carnegie Hall, where she was being honored.
Did she know who was behind the smear?
“I’m not really naming anyone,” said Lynch.
