Lynn LeMay Talks About Sonny Malone; Lynn’s Banned from Adultcon; Fundraiser for Veronica Rayne

Porn Valley- Lynn LeMay, www.lemayzing.com, was at Adultcon this weekend but had a lot to talk about Monday morning. LeMay, hearing about what happened on Jason Sechrest’s KSEX show Friday night, www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=24536 left me the follwing voicemail:

“I just read your little blurb- thank God I called you last month. I have a couple of comments. I would like to turn the movies Sonny Malone edited for me over to you. [Malone’s claiming LeMay never paid her for editing.]

“I want your imput of what Sonny did to my movies. This cost me $4,500 and eight months of my time to get these delivered as a rough cut. Everyone trusts your opinion and I want you to see there’s no questions at all in this matter. To say she wasn’t paid, I’ll also deliver the copies of her checks- all $4,500. As for being stiffed, that’s when I cancelled her checks for future work since she insists on being paid in advance.

“I wrote her a $2000 check on delivery of the rough cut for the next version that’s to be finished. I cancelled the check after I saw the rough cuts because I chose not to have her work any more on my projects. She’s already been paid $4500- which is not in dispute. I would love to deliver these to you. And I have not been turned down by seven distributors [as Malone claims]. I have no one to see the product because Sonny’s such a fuck up. I’ve been turned down by nobody because no one’s seen anything.”

I followed up with a phone call to LeMay Monday morning.

LeMay thanked me for standing up for her on Sechrest’s show.

“Even though we talked off the record at the time I’m glad I told you that story [about the Malone drama],” she says. “You knew the story before it ever hit.”

According to LeMay, she paid Malone $4500 up front to edit four movies.

“It was $1,000 a movie and I paid an additional $500 to clean the sound on one of them,” adds LeMay. “I just received the final version of Malibu Moms 1`which was 90% when I gave it to her in January. I just received it two weeks ago. Malibu Moms 2 I got a rough cut months ago. I turned it down and sent it back. I got a second rough cut when I talked to you about a month ago. I want you to see those versions and why I turned them down. Her [Malone’s] comment to me was don’t look at he sound, don’t look at the lighting, don’t look at the color. Don’t look at any of that. Just tell me if it’s in the right order.”

According to LeMay, Malibu Moms 2 was shot in December and delivered to Malone in January.

“Those versions were so unacceptable,” says LeMay. “But she told me to get my rough cut I had to give her another $2,000. Our agreement was $1,000 to start it and a final $1,000 on completion. I don’t want her to work on it any more. I took one look at these and said this is an example of eight months of your work? Please, I don’t need you any more. I’m going to find another editor. And I put a stop payment on the check. I did not bounce the check. That was an intentional stop payment for work I do not want her to do. I don’t want her to finish these movies. I don’t have to wait two years which is the level she’s going.”

“I am trying to be the best person for talent that I can possibly be,” LeMay says. “I don’t bounce checks. My business is good. My investor is solid. My product is in the can.”

I wondered what was up with Sechrest since he mentioned during the show that he and LeMay had a falling out. Sechrest was supposed to do her P.R.

“I paid Jason in advance, in his account when he was desperate for money,” LeMay explains. “He wrote me one press release that he put out on MySpace. When I asked to see it, he couldn’t send it to me. And I only had Phoenix [the movie] out then. And I told him I don’t need a P.R. guy for one movie. Especially when I put all that money in his account and got only one press release on MySpace. I told Jason I didn’t need to give him $600 a month. I really didn’t. My MySpace is bigger than his- it’s almost 7,000 people now. But Jason and I parted on good terms until Sonny got into it.”

“Everybody wants to jump on a bandwagon but no one should have anything bad to say about me,” LeMay feels.

Which brings us to Adultcon with LeMay telling me she has been banned from future shows by Renaud West.

“Renaud and I went around this weekend,” she announces. “Renaud wrote me a letter.” LeMay submits the following e-mail as Exhibit A:

Writes West: “Just so there is no confusion, you & your production company that has no product for sale, are banned from all Adultcon shows and events forever.

You are a nice person. have a nice day and I wish you great success in the future.”

According to LeMay, West didn’t have the balls to address her personally and didn’t come near her booth.

But LeMay was at Adultcon this weekend and had 20 girls in her booth.

“I didn’t take money from anyone- I brought all these girls in and they all signed,” she states. “He banned me.”

LeMay explains the reasons, and as far as I can tell, the issue was over whether she was promoting her own name or her company’s. In which case West would have charged her even more than the $1200 he extracted from her.

I ask LeMay how much money she put in this guy’s pocket. She tells me thousands of dollars all together. And she calls West “a prick.”

“I probably put $3,000 in his pocket from all the advertising bullshit I’ve done,” she thinks. “And I haven’t done a single thing to him. He was mad at Lou- the guy who makes out T-shirts. He got mad at Lou because Lou put up all my stuff all through my booth. But they didn’t want “business” in a talent booth. We were selling Lynn LeMay movies from the Eighties to the present.”

“But West said I was a company,” LeMay comments. “I didn’t bring anything from my company. Then he tells me he doesn’t want me there any more. Because of Lou. He and Lou almost threw down into a fist fight. Security had to separate them.”

LeMay said the altercation happened before the event opened Friday.

“And the show was so small,” LeMay adds.

Then she addresses the fact that the girls in her booth were punished by West by being ignored for his awards show Saturday night.

“It had nothing to do with me or the girls signing at my booth,” she states. “That’s petty. And the deejay was not allowed to mention we were there although I had a four-booth island. Right in front of the deejay. But Tera Patrick had big Teravision banners hanging down from the roof. She was allowed to do free giveaways but we weren’t allowed to giveaway anything.”

LeMay thought one of the benefits of the show was allowing girls to give out free gifts.

“We were threatened if we didn’t get them off his [West’s] property,” LeMay adds. “I brought eight cases of giveaways and booths surrounding us were throwing out free DVDs and T-shirts. We were allowed only 8 by 10’s and DVDs that you were in, only. And I was in every single one of those DVDs. My hands are shaking thinking of this.”

LeMay says what makes matters even worse is the fact that she’s patronized Adultcon for six years.

“I’ve had four booths at his shows the last six years,” she goes on to say. “How badly is this guy trying to kill himself? I pay in cash up front and there’s never a problem with my money.”

Asked if she got her money’s worth, leMay said she made a grand total of $452 in three days.

[LeMay also points to the fact that West brilliantly scheduled the show around Yom Kippur and NFL football Sunday]. LeMay’s guess was that there were less than 5,000 people the three days.

“He named it perfectly,” laughs LeMay. “It is an Adult Con. And it’s not just me. You walked around to other people who were screaming and yelling about this.”

“Whoever raised Renaud, raised him so wrong,” says LeMay. “He yells at me in front of fans. Who does he think he is that little two-bit piece of shit, God-complex, sonofabitch? I don’t get what kind of power trip he’s on. Have I made my point?”

[On another amusing issue, West tried telling LeMay she wasn’t known for her “boobies” when she tried tossing out free boobie balls into the crowd. And, according to LeMay, Amber Peach also had issues when Renaud went in there and stripped her booth and apparently commandeered it.]

“Nobody knew we were there because they wouldn’t do any announcements,” LeMay also states. “We just sat in our corners. And I spent a fortune.”

Including, says LeMay, the fact that she paid for every girl’s badge that was at her booth.

“I flew my two daughters in – they flew home today very disappointed. They came to have a good time. This was miserable.”

But not as miserable as it was for Vernica Rayne. Rayne is a non-exclusive contract girl for Rayne.

Rayne and her husband Jack Vegas were injured in a car crash outside of Adultcon. LeMay saw it first hand.

“I talked to them and went to the hospital- they’re my contract people,” says LeMay. “Coming into the convention, they were pulling into the parking lot. This Mexican couple ran a red light, crossed over the median, hit them head on. It put the bumper of their car into the dashboard. Jack was not hurt. When I saw Veronica at the hospital when they rolled her out of the ER into a wheel chair, she was wearing a neck brace; her shoulders were strapped to her body. She could barely move. She can’t breathe very well. She was worried about her implants.”

“As of last night she had a massive bruise across her chest,” adds LeMay.

“They both were wearing their seatbelts. Her shoulder from the force of the impact, they think she may have torn something in the rotator cuff. She is not able to work. They just bought a house two weeks ago. They just moved. And their money’s tied up with work they’ve just completed with Playboy who has locked up their accounts.”

“Playboy’s sold to somebody, hence the story goes,” LeMay states. “The story late last week is that Playboy’s sold out to somebody. The buildings are all locked up and nobody’s getting paid. [Brilliant ClubJenna purchase].

“Playboy owes Jack and Veronica $5,000; they owe Megan Reese $4,000. Nobody’s getting paid until they work it out. But that’s not helping Jack and Veronica.”

According to LeMay, Jack Vegas is okay but there’s talk about doing some kind of fundraiser to help them with a mortgage payment.

“We take care of our own- that’s what we do,” says LeMay.

We also talked about LeMay’s Horror’Sci-Fi show on PrimeTimeUncensored, www.primetimeuncensored.com which has not seen the light of day in weeks.

“I’m going to do it with or without Lu [Lu Bricate],” she said. “I’m not going to sit here and wait for him any more. It’s not the Lu and Lynn Show any more. I’m doing the show with or without him.”

I told LeMay I’d be ready to jump in to help with the show at least for this Tuesday since both genres are somewhat up my alley.
