From www.nbclosangeles.com- An autopsy performed today on adult film star Marilyn Chambers, who died at her Los Angeles area home, failed to determine the cause.
The 56-year old broke into the porn industry by appearing in the 1972 film “Behind the Green Door,” the first widely released pornographic film in the Seventies.
Chambers, whose real name was Marilyn Ann Taylor, was found dead around 9 p.m. Sunday in the 16000 block of Vasquez Canyon Road in Canyon County, said Assistant Chief Ed Winter of the coroner’s office. She was 56.
“She probably died of natural causes,” Winter said, but he said additional testing would be required to pinpoint the cause.

Her appearance in the film cost the then-aspiring model and actress her job as Procter & Gamble’s Ivory Snow girl, appearing on the soap box with a baby and the caption “99 & 44/100% pure.”
