Porn Valley- Bill Margold brings up a very good point. If Sharon Mitchell was shooting for Chuck Vincent at the time Linda Lovelace had sex with a dog, as Mitchell states in Legs McNeils' book The Other Hollywood http://adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=8317, Mitchell had to be at least 18. Correct?
The book sets the time of the Lovelace episode as 1971. Do the math. If Mitchell was 18, then she would have been born in 1953 or earlier. Which sets Mitchell's age at, at least, 52.
However, Margold in doing research on porn stars' age verification comes across a January 18, 1958 birth date attributed to Mitchell. Which, if correct, makes her 13 at the time she was shooting porn for Chuck Vincent.
"I have a feeling we're dealing with the Baron Von Munchausen of X," Margold laughs. "I don't think this woman would know the truth if it bit her. Still, I can't blame her because this woman has been dead more than alive so many times. I think when she keeps coming back, she comes back and she simply forgets. This is sort of eerie unless she has a doctored ID. And I have it sitting in the office. I've been looking at thousands of ID's and I just happened to come upon Mitchell's. I remember she's been celebrating her 40th birthday over and over. It's conceivable that she could have been born in 1948 rather than '58. That's a possibility but I can't believe that."
Noting that Mitchell has had plastic surgeries and liver medicines to preserve it from past heroin bouts, Margold acknowledges that Mitchell has had a pretty tough life. "But I'll kiss your ass in the middle of the AVN convention if she was on a shoot with Chuck Vincent. 13?"
It's Margold's recollection that Mitchell's first movie came out in 1975 and it was titled Joy. "And she admits that she worked at 17."
According to Margold, Mitchell once told him that she was Sandy Duncan's double in Peter Pan on Broadway. "You may have the female equivalent of John Holmes who lied about everything," says Margold. "I think this time she really screwed up. What would she have looked like at 13 years old? I'm shocked that she happened to be there, also."
Which now raises the question I say to Margold about Laurie Holmes' alleged admission in the McNeil book that Holmes knew he had HIV yet did movies in Europe for the money and that Laurie Holmes was apparently complicit with the decision to do so. http://adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=8288
"I haven't jumped on it for the following reason," Margold says. "I am doing an interview with her [Saturday] for Paradise Visuals. Until I get an answer from her, I don't want to say anything until I get it out of her mouth and on camera.
"I don't trust McNeil's book at all," Margold goes on to say. "It's beginning to look like a piece of Swiss cheese. And this whole episode with Warren Beatty is just pathetic. It's unnecessary.
[Just this week Tracey Adams refuted Mitchell's story about Adams introducing her to Warren Beatty and John Bowen points out that his name was erroneously reported as John Bond.]
