We believe that at least three members Legend, Robert Hill Releasing and Pure Play Media] have had “secondary” producer records inspected despite the language of the injunction.

In accordance with court rules, we are engaging in good faith negotiations with the Justice Department to see if an agreement can be reached whereby the rights of the members under the injunction can be protected. The current situation is untenable and the Free Speech Coalition and the government are engaged in discussions to establish a procedural framework whereby the FBI can determine whether a producer is a “primary” or “secondary” producer for the purposes of the preliminary injunction prior to a records inspection.

If an agreement cannot be reached, the Free Speech Coalition will return to Judge Miller seeking relief from these prior violations and a means to prevent further violations.

Free Speech Coalition is a not-for-profit trade association serving the adult entertainment industry. Its mission is to safeguard the industry from oppressive governmental regulation and to promote good business practices within the industry.

“I’m told there have already been 40,000 copies pre-sold, so there’s a lot of interest for it before it has even hit book shelves, and that’s great,” Jeremy told AVN.com.

“I was approached to do this book a very long time ago, but I just didn’t feel like it was the right deal or the right time,” Jeremy continued. “I still had a lot of stuff going on, and I might have missed including something in the book that happened the day after I was finished.”

A few of the things that Ron discusses in the book are a motorcycle ride which the led to the nickname “Hedgehog,” his rules for swinging etiquette, his Playboy mansion exploits and his never before discussed sexual romps through Howard Stern’s Infinity Broadcast studio.

“I wanted everything to be one hundred percent accurate, down to the smallest details,” added Jeremy. “I spent a lot of time with a ghost writer, as well as re-writing several parts that I thought weren’t exactly like it happened…it’s gotta to be the truth.”

Jeremy went on to say that he hopes the book will be filled with “holy shit, I didn’t know that” moments for readers. “There’s going to be a ton of things in the book that people didn’t know about me, and that’s great.

“I do want to stress that this book isn’t all about Adult movies…there’s a lot about my upbringing in there as well, along with all the wild and crazy experiences…but I think people will find it all interesting.”

Bottom line, I like the AVN awards and think they’re great for the industry in terms of mainstream PR. But they’ll always be up for accusations of corruption, same as fashion magazines where heavy advertisers win product of the year awards. The only awards you can’t level this sort of shit at are the ones fans vote for. Anytime a commercial product holds awards, people are going to ask questions.

Yeah, because I know when I watch a porn flick, I turn the music up way loud. Fuck the sex, I’m all about the tunes.
