Toronto — If police had acted on a complaint filed by model Tiana Hunter in late January, Natel King aka Taylor Sumers might be alive today. Hunter went to police a couple of months ago reporting an ecounter she had with Frederick but was rebuffed. Cops alleged told Hunter it was a civil matter.
Hunter, 18, has told the Canadian press that her shoot with Frederick made her feel “like a caged animal.” Frederick was subsequently charged with the murder of King who was found dead March 23.
King had disappeared Feb. 29, following a bondage photo shoot. Her body was found in a Pennsylvania ravine. Frederick, 46, was charged with murder, abuse of a corpse and possession of a knife.
Hunter had agreed to go to the photographer’s Pennsylvania house for a one-day art shoot. From the moment she arrived, he pushed her to do bondage pictures. Eventually, Hunter agreed.
“I put on (the bondage material) and I started to cry. I felt like a caged animal,” Hunter said.
She said the photographer then “totally snapped.”
“He was yelling at me and calling me all kinds of names”
“He then refused to pay me.”
She went to the Montgomery County police but was told it was a civil matter.
