Arizona- A Yuma business woman is out on bond after being arrested of for running a prostitution ring. She owns a modeling agency but police say behind the scenes it was a much different story.
Charlotte "Peach" Pieplow, 59, the owner of 5 Star Private Modeling in Yuma, was arrested Tuesday for running a prostitution ring. Police say they busted her after she dropped off a female at a local hotel. They say after going undercover, they found she was taking her female employees to different hotels around town. They say she would then pick them up and take portion of their profit.
Online records indicate Pieplow's Modeling Business was run out of a home on Hereford Avenue. Some neighbors in the area say they heard rumors of a prostitution ring and saw alot of people going in, mostly at night. They say it's been going on for some years.
Pieplow was booked into the Yuma County Adult Detention Facility for two counts of prostitution, receiving earnings from prostitutes, transporting persons for the purpose of prostitution, and criminal trespass. Pieplow has since been released after posting bond. Two of Pieplow's employees and one of their suspected customers is being investigated. Police say other arrests or charges could follow.
