Model’s Killer Fleas to Canada; Third Person Involved

The Las Vegas model murder mystery has taken on a new twist. News 3 has confirmed there was a third person involved; another man reportedly having a relationship with the victim. One is cooperating with police; the other is on the run.

It’s a story of dreams and ambition: Jasmine Fiore, a 20 something Las Vegas model looking for her big break.

“She seemed very responsible, she seemed very driven,” said Best Agency owner Ken Henderson. “…focused on just wanting to get into the business.”

The dream ended early Saturday when her nude body was discovered stuffed in a suitcase, thrown in a back alley dumpster. “It (suitcase) was about two feet by two feet, carry on with the zipper partially open. It burst open,” a Los Angeles police officer explains.

Police are now looking for Jasmine’s husband, Ryan Jenkins. The two recently married at the famous Little White Chapel on Las Vegas Boulevard.

“He just swept her off her feet, basically,” Jasmine’s friend and local hairdresser Tonja Monroe told News 3. “She just wanted true love like all of us. She wanted to be in love and be loved.”

Monroe says Jasmine has been mischaracterized, that she was actually intelligent and driven, not reckless.

Unlike what some tabloid Websites are claiming, according to friends, Jasmine was not a topless dancer, she and Ryan did not meet at a strip club; they actually met at Hawaiian Tropic Zone.

Ryan Jenkins was slick. He was a contestant on the VH-1 reality show, “Megan Wants a Millionaire.” He’s reportedly worth $2.5 million. Those who knew the couple say it was love at first sight, but it didn’t last.

“She started realizing he wasn’t who he said he was and she tried to break it off with him and went back to her other boyfriend, Robert,” Monroe said. “What she would do is go back and forth.”

Monroe believes Ryan became enraged and ultimately took it out on Jasmine; the aspiring model now a victim of murder.

We spoke with Robert on Wednesday. He tells us he is currently in Los Angeles and is cooperating with police. Meanwhile, authorities are on the lookout for Jenkins who may be headed to Canada. Police say he may be driving a black BMW or a white Mercedes that belonged to the victim.
