New Sensations’ New Romance Series Earns AVN Honors

I have an idea for a new adult industry series. It’s called The Check Collectors.

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — The Romance Series was named Best New Series at the 2011 AVN Awards. From adult studio New Sensations, The Romance Series is a masterfully passionate movie line, which embarks on an entirely new concept in adult entertainment—love.

The unique, high-end series caters to the erotic needs of women who desire passion and love enhancing their sexual experience. The AVN award demonstrates The Romance Series’ impact on the female market and further quantifies women as legitimate consumers of adult entertainment.

Scott Taylor, New Sensations’ president says, “Thank you to AVN for acknowledging our efforts to create adult movies for the growing female audience. The concept of love and sex mixing is obviously not new, but within the context of adult entertainment, it is revolutionary. That’s why The Romance Series is making waves, while changing women’s perceptions on pornography.”

In order to appeal equally to women and men, each volume of The Romance Series is a collaborative effort by the New Sensations diverse staff. Whether written by a woman (Crystal Dear; “The Engagement Party”) or directed by a man (James Avalon; “A Little Part of Me”), The Romance Series balances passion and love with hard-core sex scenes. This collaboration produces movies women feel equally comfortable enjoying on their own or watching with a partner.

“This product will change the way that women perceive pornography,” writes AVN Media’s erotic reviewer Betty Knowles regarding The Romance Series. “It is the first X-rated movie I can say I would truly enjoy watching from start to finish with my husband. There is nothing out there like it! I was drawn right into the story line and found myself identifying with the women I was watching on screen.”

AVN reporter Peter Warren writes, “The question of whether or not women watch porn has at this point become about as arcane as that of whether white people listen to rap. Women not only represent a viable segment of the porn-consuming public, but a fairly formidable one, at that…New Sensations, for one, has taken the bull by the horns with its new Romance line.”
