Originally I said thanks but I need volunteers only. I am sitting at my desk Sunday morning, and I do have a thought, which I should have expressed the other nite, but the mind is not what it used to be. Just ask my ex.

We have one month before the telethon. What would it take for all studios to collect whatever monies they could and donate to MDA thru the Free Speech Coalition. We could have one check and present a donation. This way all get involved. There are many companies in our industry who do very well financially. It feels so good to give- why not dig deep for a few scheckels which is tax deductible and can do so much for those who need help.

For those of you kind enough to volunteer part of their holiday weekend, God bless you. If you cannot donate your time, donate a few dollars, whatever you can afford, especially the major players out there. This is the first time our industry through the Free Speech Coalition, can demonstrate we are caring, concerned people who want to help.

In addition, and this is important, I know many production companies do not like each other and there are people who do not like me personally. Maybe for one day we can put this aside and work together. Who know. We may open the lines of communication that was missing through the years.
