from http://entertainment.gather.com – Olivia Black was fired from History Channel’s popular reality show Pawn Stars last week when some revealing photos of her from SuicideGirls.com were released by The National Enquirer.
Black claims that she had no idea why she was let go. “I do not know why I was fired from the show,” she said. “I got a call and the production company told me that my services were no longer needed on the show.”
Olivia was stunned and shocked by the call and was in tears when she told her fans on Facebook about what happened.
Black doesn’t want to give up on her television career, and Suicide Girls are trying to help Olivia get her job back. According to The Hollywood Gossip, the soft porn website started a petition on Change.org to get her back on the show.
“I didn’t realize that I have a lot of fans and supporters, and so if my firing did have to do with the Suicide Girls photos … maybe the producers will reconsider,” Olivia stated. “I love being on Pawn Stars. I want my job back. That is my number one priority.”
But some good news is that Black is not fired from working at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, the home of the television program. She was thrilled to get a phone call saying that she isn’t fired from the shop, only from the show. After the holidays, she’ll be back working with the Old Man, Rick, Corey, and Chumlee.
“One of the reasons I was upset the most,” Olivia explained, “was because I was bummed that I wasn’t going to be a part of the family at the shop anymore.”
It’s just too bad that fans won’t be seeing Olivia working the night shift with Chum keeping her company every so often. Black brought a much needed female view to the male-oriented show, and she will be missed. Who knows, maybe if Olivia keeps her clothes on, the History Channel might bring her back in front of the cameras very soon.
