"Behind the Scenes" Support Group Details

The "Behind the Scenes" support group is designed specifically for partners and family members of adult industry professionals. Dr. Monique Martinez-Quiros stated that in this environment, participants can explore challenges, share experiences, and build tools to strengthen relationships, foster open communication, and find mutual support. The group aims to help loved ones feel seen, heard, and supported.

The online support group will begin on Wednesday, May 7. Sessions are scheduled for 10 a.m. PT, 1 p.m. ET, and 7 p.m. CET. Each session will run for approximately one hour. The six-week program will conclude on June 11.

Pineapple Support's Mission

Pineapple Support was founded in 2018 by British performer Leya Tanit. The organization was established following a series of losses within the adult industry attributed to depression and other mental illnesses. Pineapple Support is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States.

Since its inception, Pineapple Support has connected over 15,000 adult performers with mental health services. These services include free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support. Leya Tanit emphasized that support for the adult industry should extend to those who stand beside performers, including partners, spouses, parents, and friends. Tanit noted that these individuals often navigate their own questions, worries, and emotional burdens in silence. The new group aims to create a space for honest conversations and meaningful connection for these individuals.

Collaboration with Clips4Sale

The launch of the "Behind the Scenes" support group is a collaborative effort, with Clips4Sale serving as the sponsor. This partnership enables Pineapple Support to offer the online group free of charge to participants. The initiative highlights a focus on providing comprehensive mental health resources to the broader adult industry community.
