Pineapple Support, a mental health nonprofit for the adult industry, has launched a Giving Tuesday fundraising campaign to address a waitlist of individuals seeking mental health services. The organization aims to raise over $200,000 to provide therapy sessions to more than 180 people currently awaiting support.

Pineapple Support's Giving Tuesday Initiative

Pineapple Support, identified as the adult industry’s leading mental health nonprofit, initiated its Giving Tuesday fundraising campaign. The campaign's objective is to clear a waitlist of individuals seeking mental health services. Currently, over 180 people are waiting for therapy, and the organization has set a fundraising goal of more than $200,000 to ensure these individuals receive support.

Leya Tanit, Founder and CEO of Pineapple Support, stated that the Giving Tuesday campaign calls on the adult industry to unite and make an impact. Tanit highlighted that many creators have considered or attempted suicide and battle depression and anxiety without necessary resources. She emphasized that clearing the waitlist would provide life-changing therapy sessions to those in need. Tanit also noted that the demand for accessible mental health resources in the industry has increased, and through collective effort, every person seeking help can access support.

To facilitate participation, Pineapple Support has established custom fundraising pages for businesses and individuals through GiveLively.org. These pages enable supporters to share their campaigns and contribute to a collective leaderboard of top donors.
