Porn on website, ‘mail bombing’ lead to arrest

Biloxi, Mississippi – from www.sunherald.com – – A 19-year-old has been arrested on charges of intellectual property crimes and crimes against computer users for posting pornographic pictures on a professional photographer’s website and “mail bombing” the photographer’s mail server, Detective Sgt. Donnie Dobbs said.

Byron Charles Miller, 19, of Kensington Drive in Biloxi, was arrested Wednesday and held at the county jail on $20,000 bond.

Dobbs said Miller accessed the photographer’s website and replaced pictures of models with pornographic pictures, causing the photographer to lose business.

Miller also is accused of using a hacking utility to send more than 1,400 emails, causing the photographer’s mail server to overload.

Each charge is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
