from www.nowpublic.com – The Escapist, a video game review and lifesyle site, is debuting a bizarre new feature: a weekly reality series that shows porn stars playing Dungeons & Dragons.
The series, catchily titled I Hit It with My Axe, features adult film stars Satine Phoenix, Kimberly Kane, Mandy Morbid, and Zak Sabbath playing D&D along with Connie (a stripper) and Frankie (a hairdresser).
The series will also feature guest stars. During the yearlong series, should one of the porn stars’ characters die, they’ll just create a new one and join back in the game at the nearest opportunity. In case you’re wondering, Zak Sabbath is the dungeon master.
The show came about because these porn stars were playing D&D anyway (blog contains mature content); Satine Phoenix [pictured] tells io9 that she’s surprised that the rest of the world finds that so odd. After all, porn stars have sex as part of their day-job, so it’s small wonder that they’d seek other activities outside of work hours.
By the way, Satine Phoenix prefers her role-play characters to be non-human but sexy. Just so you know.
You can watch the first episode of I Hit It With My Axe here: it’s safe for work, as it only depicts people playing a role-playing game.
That’s one thing I don’t get. Why wouldn’t a porn star play Dungeons and Dragons? It’s an escapist game just like World of Warcraft or any videogame. Porn is a job like most others where at the end of the day you are glad to be home.
