CERES, CA – A woman teacher’s aide at Ceres High School is under arrest on charges she had sexual relations with a student there.
Ceres police say they arrested 35-year-old Stacey Goodloe last Friday afternoon. She was booked into Stanislaus County Jail on three sexual assault charges, all of them felonies.
While detectives revealed no information about the student, based on the charges filed the student is either 14 or 15 years old.
The investigation began after they and school officials were alerted to a potential sexual relationship between one of the school’s paraprofessional instructional aides and a student, according to a police department news release. No information was given as to when they became aware of the situation.
Detectives declined to release further information as the investigation is ongoing.
