I just read your recent post about Skeeter’s lack luster review from
AVN. It pretty much sums up my feelings when I watched Skeeter’s
earlier works awhile back. I see nothing has changed.
I don’t understand why he is at the beginning of every scene? Do I
watch these movies to see him? Hell no! The reviewer from AVN is spot
on, I don’t want to see or hear the director. I’m watching the movie
to see the girl! Even if a director I liked did the same thing I’d
dislike it just as much. It is annoying, kills the mood and all I do
is end up hitting fast forward. Does he even think about the guy at
home watching his movies?
A really good movie I should never have to hit fast forward on.
I’m shocked to hear Skeeter also state that set colors don’t matter.
Of course they matter! I’ve watched plenty of movies and when each
scene is shot in the same location or the same couch it comes across
completely amateurish. It is an insult to the consumer base. You think
we are stupid and don’t realize its the same couch?
This goes back to why certain directors have had more success. You
watch a Jules Jordan title and you can see from start to finish he
cares about his product. As does Joey Silvera or Chris Streams.
Everything from the editing, box cover designs, to the sets and of
course the talent is top notch.
take care gene!
