Porn Valley- Porn legend Rhonda Jo Petty was a phone-in guest on Ginger Lynn's KSEX, www.ksexradio.com show Tuesday night.
Petty announced that she will be at Erotica L.A. this weekend. During the course of interview, Petty said she wasn't exactly sure how many movies she made but thinks there might be over 500. Petty suggested that she might be best known for titles like Little Orphan Dusty, Satisfaction, and Babycakes. Petty, who left the adult business in 1985, plugged her website where fans can buy autographed copies of her movies.
"People can buy them; we'll autograph them; we're going to have pictures and all kinds of items and kinky stuff," she pointed out.
Petty said she will be at Booth 943 during the course of Erotica L.A. "The name of my company is Classic Exotic Stars," Petty said. Her website iswww.classicexoticstars.comPetty said she's working to bring a lot of the old stars into the fold and that a couple of the people featured on the website will also be coming with her to the show including Johnny Keyes and Mai Lin to sell T-shirts and movies.
Ginger noted that Petty's site was bringing back the classic performers of all-time. "When porn was really porn," said Ginger.
"From Boogie Nights, honey," Petty agreed. "When we really did it." Petty said she turned 49 this year. Ginger said she saw Petty in Las Vegas and that she looked incredible. Petty said she looks even better now, that she had a rough New Year's. "I'm raring to go now."
Some folk in the KSEX chat room wanted to know about John Holmes whom Petty worked a lot with. "Johnny was great," she said. "The first film I made with John Holmes was Little Orphan Dusty. To be real honest, the first couple of days he did not like me at all. He thought I was stuck up and the problem was I was scared to death." Ginger agreed that most girls were petrified of Holmes.
"Once he got to know me, he was always very gentle and kind," Petty continued. "I made lot of movies with him and I ended up living with him for six months. I was a roommate. It was different."
Asked what she thought of the Wonderland film, Petty said she hasn't seen it. "I heard it wasn't very good."
Petty was asked if she watched today's porn. She answered by saying she has four kids with two living at home. "Want me to be honest? It all looks the same to me," she answered. "Whenever my husband as it own I tell him to turn that shit off."
Ginger had Sean Michaels on as an in-studio guest and told Petty that Michaels performs with passion like they did in the old days. Petty said she never saw any of Michaels' movies. Petty confessed that she likes girl-girl scenes. Ginger asked Petty if she were still bisexual. "I've been married, honey, for 14 years," Petty replied. Lynn said she's been married several times but will always remain bisexual. Petty said she still thinks about it a lot but for now has no one in her private life, i.e., a woman. Petty said she's the type of person that when she's with somebody, she's with them. "When I'm in love I'm really in love."
Petty said she was still very much in love after all these years.
Ginger who confessed she was going in and out of focus got back to the point at hand and asked Petty about Little Orphan Dusty. Petty said she did a fist-fuck scene. "I was the fistee," she related. "It was some girl. They tried the guy and it didn't work. We ended up going through a whole jar of Vaseline but we ended up using a girl. I was young and dumb."
Petty said what gave the movie notoriety was the fact that it got busted plus the fact she featured the Farrah Fawcett look. "Jacob Jacobi made that movie- remember him at all?" Petty asked Lynn. Lynn didn't
Mai Lin then got on the phone. She said Michaels' name was familiar. Michaels remembered having sex with her. She didn't. "I'm sure if he pulled his pants down in front of me I might remember," said Lin claiming she remembers dicks better than names. Lynn was of the idea that she did a movie with Lin called Pleasure Hunt II and that Lin was on the cover. "You and I didn't have sex, but it just hit me that we had been in a film together," said Ginger thinking that the movie was at least 18 years ago. "It was up in San Francisco and I remember Pleasure Hunt I a lot better than I do Part 2."
Lynn remembered being tied to some kind of wheel of sex and wherever the board stopped she would have sex with that person. Lin said she remembered vaguely of sitting on the set. "I didn't stay on the set to see what they were going to do to you," she said. "Did I lick your pussy?" Lynn asked her.
