VENICE, CA – It seems like just yesterday that Rising Star PR was a fledgling marketing and publicity company catering to a small group of big name stars intent of making themselves bigger. Starting with Lisa Ann and Kayden Kross, they forged a path using their writing skills, industry contacts and an indefatigable work ethic to help stars get attention and win awards.

Kagney Linn Karter, Shawna Lenee, Jesse Capelli, Monique Alexander, Nikki Jayne, Kiara Diane, Kylie Ireland, McKenzie Lee and Amia Miley are just a few former clients who have gone on to accomplish their dreams and ambitions with the help of Rising Star PR.

Rising Star PR’s current roster of stars includes Lisa Ann, Jenna Haze, Jennaration X Studios and Bluebird Films, all who took home awards during the 2010 award season. No one was happier or more surprised though when Rising Star PR won AVN’s award for Best Online Marketing Campaign for their work with Bluebird Films BATFXXX: A Dark Knight Parody. It was with equal delight that the company learned they had been nominated against the best and brightest of their colleagues for the Fame Registry annual awards.

Kelli Roberts, who runs the Fame Registry, announced the winners of the 2011 Fame Registry Awards on Twitter last week. Rising Star PR was delighted to learn they had taken home the coveted award for Publicist of the Year.

“We are honored to win such a prestigious award,” confesses Rising Star PR founder and respected industry veteran Devan Cypher.

“I know that a great deal of factors are taken into consideration for this award and that it is not just handed out lightly. I couldn’t be more proud, or more grateful, to be honest.”

Rising Star PR has worked hard to push the boundaries of adult in social media this year, increasing their Twitter presence with a full-time employee, adding a YouTube Channel for BTS clips of their clients, and launching two new sites – one for reviews and another for interviews – making them the only PR company with their own webring.

“We really work hard for our clients, getting them big results, and it feels great to see others recognize it,” Cypher continues.

“Thank you to Kelli for this honor and thank you to the Fame Registry.”

Other Rising Star PR clients include model/director/author Sienna Sinclaire, comeback favorite Inari Vachs and breakout star Jacky Joy.
