MURRYSVILLE, Pa – from www.wpxi.com – Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at an adult video store along Route 22 in Murrysville early Monday morning.

Police said Murrysville Video News, formerly Adult Bookstore, was robbed at about 3:30 a.m.

Police said a woman arrived to pick up the clerk when his shift ended and noticed the door was locked and lights were out, so she called police.

Police forced their way inside the store and found the clerk in a utility room. Police said the two robbers used fetish handcuffs to subdue the clerk and taped his mouth shut.

Police said the robbers hid inside the store and waited for the clerk to close up before coming out with guns drawn, surprising him.

The clerk told police that after the men cuffed him, they stole adult sex toys and about $1,000 before fleeing.

The woman who notified police said she saw two men getting into a pickup truck and head west on Route 22.

The men, who wore ski masks, damaged security cameras, making it difficult for police to identify them.

“It sits right off the highway, it takes a fair amount of guts to do that at that location,” said Chief Thomas Seefeld.
