Jeremy, the former porn king turned B-list celebrity and cult hero, will make his debut on 5 April as a weekly technology reviewer.

Jeremy, 54, is the star of a new show on Heavy.com called Techsmart with Ron Jeremy. What does a self-described “hairy, chunky, aging porn star” know about technology?

“That remains to be seen,” said Lane Buschel, a spokesman for New York-based Heavy.com, a testosterone-driven Web site that targets 20-something males.

The star of more than 1,900 adult films, Jeremy will offer his opinion on the latest gadgets and will not have necessarily anything to do with his former career, Buschel said.

“Obviously, the show will be a comedy but he’s really going to do reviews,” Buschel said.
