Gene sez: Here’s the most recent conversation I had with Roxetta which was on 12/9/2006:
Porn Valley- When Mickey G e-mailed me to refute allegations Roxetta made against him, I phoned him but he never returned the call. This may be the reason: I talked to Roxetta that same day, which was Friday of last week, and she told me she was turning him in. Saturday afternoon I spoke to her.
Roxetta’s visiting family in Georgia for the holidays.
“They got him,” she announced. “They have him in the Twin Towers, I think. I’m really kind of sad about it in many ways. He had been calling me and leaving awful text messages threatening my life, threatening to hire someone to kill me if I talked. It got so bad I had to go down to the police detectives and show them everything. So they said this was too much. He meant business.”
According to Roxetta, Mickey G allegedly threatened her with the president of the Hell’s Angels if she didn’t shut her mouth and told her he was Michael the Archangel of battle.
“He said silence is best for you,” she continued. “He also said that he’s got 40 years of connections in LA to go along with his wrinkles.”
Roxetta said she felt responsible but at the same time she was afraid of becoming a statistic in the OJ ball game.
“To have so many text messages on my phone saying that he had connections in LA and if I’m not silent they’re going to hurt me,” she continued. “I showed them to the detective. He said this guy needs to be picked up.” Roxetta feels in some ways it’s a sad story. Yet at the same time it would seem as vindication of a story that seemed wild and crazy at first hearing.
“You see somebody with a butcher knife and somebody trying to murder somebody else, it kind of makes you crazy,” she says. On the other hand, Roxetta says her friend, who had battery acid allegedly thrown at him by Mickey G, is blinded for life in one eye.
“He has scar tissue that has fused his eye together,” she relates. “He can’t move it. He has to go to the doctor all of the time. He has to take medication for it. They’re going to actually cut the eye out of the socket and remove the scar tissue.”
Roxetta says the incident has changed her life a lot.
“I feel badly- I wish it never happened,” she says. “But at the same time he was threatening me. Now he’s in jail.” While she’s away, Roxetta said she’s working on her website.
“I had a tough time in LA doing things after being stalked,” she explains. “Here I’ll be able to get my act together real easy.” She also has a trip planned to Philadelphia to see some friends. But she’s not sure yet if she’s going to the AEE in January, so that issue is still up for debate.
“I just wish Mickey hadn’t done that,” she sighs. “They told me the litigation might take a year for him to even go to court. And I don’t know what the sentence is going to be. It’s hard to see somebody go down the drain like that. I don’t know what happened. He was a great guy. He really was. He was romantic. I think he just got on drugs and went screwy up there. It’s a sad story. Just tell everybody I’m not crazy. I’m not a bad person or anything. I didn’t do that to try to hurt him. I’m actually depressed about the whole thing.”
