NEW YORK, N.Y.- – Vivid Girl and adult superstar Savanna Samson was interviewed recently at her Murray Hill, New York City apartment by Paper magazine’s managing editor Rebecca Carroll for her new blog, “Becky and the Pussycats.”

The far ranging interview has been posted on www.papermag.com and covers Savanna’s career in porn and how it reconciles with her Catholic upbringing; how she acts in movies knowing her husband will be watching; her new and successful wine business and…her support of Rudolph Giuliani for President.

She said “…I fell in love with Giuliani years ago —before and during 9/11…I like how he cleaned up the city…I think porn should be in the privacy of your own home…I feel like he could do what he did with NYC all across America…I think he would confront the country’s fear of terrorism. I think if any one can do it, he can. At the time of 9/11 my child had just been born and it was all so devastating, but every time he spoke, I found calm. I listened to him. I felt safe knowing he was around.”

When asked if she felt comfortable telling Giuliani about her support of his run for President, Savanna said, “I don’t think he would turn down my vote because I’m a porn star!”

Carroll asked Savanna about her new movie “Savanna’s Been Blackmaled,” and Savanna said “So many girls (in the adult industry) said, ‘Oh you can’t be with a black man, it’s gonna ruin your career.’ I think that’s insane, I love black men, so I was really insistent about being on camera in an interracial (situation) because I didn’t want to be part of that mentality.”

Savanna is recognized as a superstar in the adult entertainment business. She won AVN’s Best Actress award for her portrayal of “Miss Jones” in Vivid’s blockbuster movie “The New Devil in Miss Jones” as well as numerous other awards.
