Porn Valley- Selena Silver and husband Kent Silver have bumped Sharon Mitchell off the front page of the gossip section this afternoon. That’s because Selena decided to air her dirty laundry on www.adultdvd.talk.com about her behind the scenes feud with KSEX. Luke Ford is running a series of those threads on www.lukeisback.com. But none of these will give you an indication of what really has been going on. Selena is making some very strong allegations about KSEX and the way they supposedly handled the KSEX games a couple of weeks ago. Of course it all has to do with money and who was supposedly getting some and who wasn’t.

I had kept the story off these pages because it appeared to have been an emotional matter that was going to resolve itself. KSEX I know is talking to their lawyers today and Selena, if things go the way I hear they’re going, might be serving chum at Shark World in Australia if her comments rate litigation. She’s already burnt some major employment bridges this week, and her husband Kent, who’s now lugging the biggest suitcase in the business, isn’t doing her any great service, either, with colorful soundbites like, “Selena’s not a woman- she’s a product.” I also hear the Stern show really turned Selena’s land down under nose in the air. You might remember that she got a $10,000 check for holding her piss and the fact that she voluntarily did the KSEX games the next day as a non-paying promo gig, apparently didn’t sit well with her in hindsight.

> I’m not reporting this as fact but a major rumor is circulating that Sharon Mitchell may be leaving AIM as its director. And maybe within a month, though she’s likely to stay on the board of directors. Sources tell me that Dr. Mitch is going into private practice and is basically down about the industry- the recent HIV crisis not helping matters any plus the fact that the state appears to be ready to step in and mandate condoms. I also hear there was an incident recently where Mitch’s boyfriend walked out of a restaurant when someone recognized her. I also hear from sources that Mitch hates the fact that there are still nude photos/videos available of her.

> The Sports Swami show was again pre-empted today by Cyberstation USA. Sounded like technical difficulties to us and that wouldn’t be the first time a show of the Swami’s got the shove for those reasons.

> Kevin Kleinrock who was general manager of Extreme Associates now has a production job at Warner Brothers. I hear he got that job through connections at the local synagogue. I also hear that cameraman D.J. has also left the fold which would bring the number of employees who have left that company to 52- a tradition begun with the departure of Mark Kulkis who now heads up Kick Ass Pictures. I also had a lengthy conversation with one of the salesmen in the business Thursday night who claims that Extreme is re-packaging old Tiffany Mynx material and selling it as new tapes. If that were the case, they wouldn’t be the only company attempting to get away with re-packaging old goods.

> Howard Stern certainly raised some shit on his broadcast Thursday. First an issue started in about Jenna Jameson. Stern reported that he’s been receiving e-mails that Jenna looked horrible on the E! Broadcast earlier this week of her appearance on his show. One writer told Stern to get over Jameson that he was a big nosed geek. “Pam Anderson is older than she is and fifty times hotter,” the guy wrote. “She should be kissing your ass. You helped her career out, not the other way around. Stop saying that every chick is hot, you dickhead. She’s long in the tooth and her best days are behind her.” Robin Quivers said she was also shocked when she saw Jameson on E!. “Because she looked great when I was sitting here looking at her.” Stern said it could be the lighting. Another listener also asked what happened to Jenna. “She looks and sounds like a whole different person from when she was in your movie. I know it’s been 8 years but, damn, she’s added some miles on since your movie. She used to sound like a little girl but now she sounds like a chick who smokes a lot of cigarettes.” Stern was in agreement on that issue. “She’s slighty deeper than my voice.”

Someone also wrote to tell Stern that he didn’t know what he was talking about, that Stern mistook Aurora Snow for Anastasia Blue and got the wrong person on the show to make the duck noises. Stern actually played the two two clips side by side to prove that Snow was, indeed, the duck in one of the Gag Factors.

> The other night on KSEX, Violet Blue made a public confession that she has a crush on Taylor St. Claire. “I’ve been wanting to do Taylor St. Claire for three or four years,” said Blue. “I wonder if she knows.” Violet says she likes “older” women.

> Jerry Butler, perhaps the greatest male performer the industry has ever known, wants to make a comeback. At least that’s what he told me this week. I mention to Jerry that he was kicked out of the business for making the same types of candid appraisals that Jameson makes in her book.
