Las Vegas- Save for some pick up shots, shooting pretty much wrapped up this week on the Brian Grazer documentary, “Inside Deep Throat.”
The $2 M documentary fueled by $1 million of Grazer’s own money along with $1million kicked in by HBO is in editing. From what we’re hearing there’s a rough cut of the year-long project that runs 2 1/2 hours and the final cut is supposed to come in at 90 minutes. Ray Pistol whose company Arrow owns Deep Throat went before the cameras one more time to answer a few more questions then call it a day.
“It was a one-taker,” said Pistol. “They knew what they wanted. Pistol said he was asked an interesting question- how does it feel to be the owner of Deep Throat. “It is interesting whenever you’re talking about it,” Pistol continues, “and you’d say to people, I own Deep Throat. It does get various and sundry reactions. Nobody ever asked me that. It’s much more un than having a nice annuity or stocks and bonds. It’s a lot more fun because you can definitely raise some eyebrows, shock and amaze people.”
