PORN VALLEY, CA – Lots of talk since the recent HIV crisis. Notice how I didn’t say “lots of talk about” this or that? Because from what I can see, a lot of the talk, was just talk. Uneducated banter displayed moreso from anger and emotion and less from logic and intelligence.

One of the statements commonly heard among many porn folk was “Sharon Mitchell needs to step down as director from AIM HealthCare,” the most commonly used adult STD testing facility. In my observation, not too many people were able to give a good example as to WHY she needed to step down, they just blindly expressed themselves, hoping it would make sense to whoever they were flapping their lips at.

Without the public support of like-thinking peers though, AdultFYI held a very unscientific survey on the subject for the last two weeks on our homepage. With more then 2400 responses, 74% of the readers of AdultFYI say Mitchell should remain the director of AIM.

50% agree Sharon should remain at director, although under the supervision and guidance of a real, medical doctor, while 24% say she should keep doing what she’s doing.

Of those surveyed, 24% say Sharon has done a horrible job and should resign from AIM while 2% feel she should step down as director, but remain on staff.

The numbers are very interesting considering it has almost become trendy to bash Sharon publicly, but like many of us who aren’t happy with GW in the Oval Office, most of us quietly realize that the alternative doesn’t look like a better option either.
