Spice to Relaunch with Four New Networks

LOS ANGELES – The Spice Digital Networks have been re-branded and re-launched as four distinct new entities: clubjenna, SPICE:XCESS, fresh! and shorteez.

“Adult buyers tend to randomly sample content based more on genre and specific tastes,” said Bryan Postlethwait, the SVP of programming for the Spice Digital Networks. “In an arena that has become cluttered and confusing for the adult buyer, Spice saw the opportunity to create strong brands that say what they are and are what they say-a user-friendly approach to branding and programming. As a result of conversations with cable and DBS operators, we developed these four robust channels that provide an entertaining and memorable adult experience, one which we’re confident will generate repeat buys.”

Clubjenna features Jenna Jameson and other adult stars in features from leading adult entertainment houses CJI, Vivid, Wicked and others. SPICE:XCESS showcases “must see Internet oddities, caught on tape-themed content, MILFs, fetish, ethnic, and ‘alt’ programming.” fresh! includes reality programming, casting calls and themed auditions. And with shorteez. each 90-minute PPV window features three programming assets tied together by interstitial, animation and short-form packaging.
